Honestly Better

I have always been interested in companies that get their start in philanthropy. I think it’s an amazing way to change the world and revolutionize the way business is done today! When I first heard about The Honest Company, I could tell from the name alone that the concept was groundbreaking. The Honest Company was founded in 2011 by Jessica Alba and Christopher Gavigan, with their mission dedicated to providing eco- friendly, safe, convenient, and affordable products to provide the best care for children. The company’s e-commerce website is more than convenient, and even opens with a video of the two incredible founders explaining their personal interest and dedication to the products they sell. Inspired to combat the hundreds of thousands of life-threatening chronic diseases caused by toxic chemicals found in various everyday products, The Honest Company sells household cleaning products, toys, and baby products that contain only safe chemicals. The Honest Company eliminates customer’s worry about what products are safe to use around your kids, and replaces it with a brand you can trust without doubt to be safe for your little ones. The Honest Company even provides everyday products for adults that are toxic free to keep even more people away from dangerous chemicals. The Honest Company, like so many others, have truly come to find their success in the foundation of helping others. Tedx Talk star Simon Sinek once said that “People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it." The Honest Company has truly embodied this philosophy as they provide a better world for generations to come, product by product.
